We’re incredibly excited to have landed on Southern Star Brewing Co.’s Buried Hatchet Stout as the first beer to be reviewed by the TNCC. This wasn’t an easy choice. We arm wrestled for it. Cody turned his trucker cap backward Over the Top style and it got real.
Actually, I can’t tell you the real reasons we chose the Buried Hatchet Stout. Why? Because we haven’t revealed the movie nor the cigar we’re pairing this bad boy with!! It will all make sense. With a name like Stout, we need something manly. Buried Hatchet has “Hatchet” in its name. It has a hatchet in their logo. Let me drop another Sly reference and say we were thinking about starting the videocast out with all of us holding up two hatchets in an X and banging them together. Think you caught that reference?
