Sometimes it’s the episodes that you’re convinced are going to be total duds that turn into podcast gold. I love this episode for that reason alone but there are many more reasons that you’re going to have a blast for the next 3 hours. We smoke a great cigar tonight, we drink a tasty beer, we talk about the old west and the heavenly hooters that blazed a trail through this grand ol’ country of ours, we also talk briefly about how Country Western Super Star Tim McGraw’s namesake cologne almost ruined my marriage and the one time I ate a bag of dicks.
Do I have your interest now, sucka? Yeah, I thought so. And as if that wasn’t enough, we also dressed up in adorable little western outfits for your viewing pleasure. Who else out there in the vast sea of cyberspace does this much awesome all for your enjoyment? Nobody, that’s who.
As I lit up the Bellas Artes short churchill (6 x 48) from AJ Fernandez my eyes lit up as well. This cigar makes a wonderful first impression both from a taste and aroma perspective. Right off the bat there’s a crisp cedar flavor with a cream note accompanying it that’s very nice. There is a shit ton of smoke production, a perfect burn line, and a smooth draw (so in other words, overall construction is fantastic). Notes of cinnamon and a faint milk chocolate join the cedar and cream as the first third progresses.
There is orange peel on the retrohale. As the smoking experience continues, flavors of cashew, salty caramel, and a floral component also present themselves. Construction remains impressive throughout.
This is a super-smooth complex cigar and it’s really nice to have ZERO SPICE for once lately in a newer stogie (although the Bellas Artes does unexpectedly pick up considerably in strength during the final third). To learn more about the Bellas Artes and what the TNCC crew thought of it, watch/listen to the show below!
The cloudy viscosity present on the pour of the Naked Nun Wit Ale gradually settles down to a beautiful shade of orange. The beer gives off a very pleasant citrus, herbal aroma. So how does it taste? It tastes fucking good! The Naked Nun is an extremely flavorful well-balanced beer loaded with hints of lemon, coriander, herbs, and floral notes. All these flavors work together extremely well resulting in a smooth and delicious pint.
So while there’s a million reasons to watch/listen to our show below, there’s really only four reasons to actually watch The Rowdy Girls…
Reason #4 can’t be pictured here due to local decency laws but I assure you that once you’re introduced to the character of “Mrs. Wheeler” in the first act… well you’ll understand why we, as drunken genre film archaeologists, dug up this “film” in the first place and how we managed to get all the way through it without blowing our brains out. The Rowdy Girls is streaming right this very second on Amazon Prime so get nice and liquored up and enjoy the show partners!!!
Seriously, this is a fun episode and I know you’ll enjoy it. I mean cmon, I tell a tall tale about way back in yesteryear when your lovable podcast host ate an entire bag of dicks. So saddle up and join the party cowpokes!
Please leave us comments on the YouTube episode page, provide us with a review on iTunes, or be a real stud and do both! All these seemingly small gestures would be greatly appreciated as they let us know exactly what you’re thinking about this sweat soaked tidal wave of hardbodied insanity we like to call The Tuesday Night Cigar Club.
Below is tonight’s full episode for both your viewing and listening pleasure. Thank you for checking out The Tuesday Night Cigar Club and we’ll see you next time when we review another cigar, adult beverage, and film. May the wings of liberty never lose a feather…
